World War Two Re-enactment and
Scouting for Food 2008

The Troop collected and sorted around 500 cans of food
which were donated to the Hobart Food pantry.
Cub Scout pack 69 also collected around 500 cans.

Although it was cold and windy everyone still enjoyed this
annual event where the troop visits the World War Two
Re-enactment. The boys were able to see and hold period
rifles and get a close up view of some of the war vehicles
of the time. We watched two skirmish and two larger battle
re-enactments. We also saw an FDR impersonator, and
heard the "War Time Sweethearts" sing hits of the 1940.
