Weekend Camp Out: An outing consisting of two nights spent sleeping outdoors.
Weekend Camp Out: OA :An outing consisting of two nights spent sleeping outdoors. For OA members or canidates only.
Weekend Camp In: An outing consisting of two nights spent sleeping indoors.
Overnight Camp Out: An outing consisting of one night spent sleeping outdoors and the majority of one day spent with the troop.

Long Term Camp Out: Any outing longer then three days spent with the troop while sleeping outdoors. Often a whole week.

Day Outing: An event that takes place for not more than a day.
Service Project: An event that benefits the community and one that all scouts should attend.
Banquet: This is an annual dinner where the boys are recognized for all their accomplishments throughout the last year.
